I purchased 3 diablo 2 battle chests from MMO1st.com on 4/10/11.

I received this email on 4/11/11:
Quote:

http://www.mmo1st.com/index.php?main_page=account_history_info&order_id=29XXX

Date Ordered: Sunday 10 April, 2011

The comments for your order are: XXX(CDKEYS)XXX

left all d2c,right all d2lods

Your order has been updated to the following status:
New status: Delivered

Please reply to this email if you have any questions.

This email address was given to us by you or by one of our customers. If you

Not a single key worked out of the 6 it flat out said they were all used keys.
I replied to them:
Quote:
None of the Serial Keys worked on battle.net for Diablo 2 or "d2c" and I did not attempt the LoD keys.
Please send working keys.

To which they replied:
Quote:
Blizzard's site got problem. We can't register any cdkey at this time either.

You are able to read this following page to learn how to use the 16
codes key works on battle.net:
http://mmo1st.com/temp/how_to_use_cdkey.html
To which I replied:
Quote:
Then I would like a refund and I will repurchase at a later time.
I then Filed a dispute through paypal, my dispute through paypal was declined and they said that I don't get my money back.

I continued to email their website trying to get a response, and I have yet to recieve anything. The last email I sent was :
Quote:
I still haven't received a refund, or CD keys. I am getting paperwork ready to file in small claims court (http://library.law.smu.edu/Research-Tools/Research-Guides/Texas-Law-(300)/307-Small-Claims-Court---Texas), I will also be filing a report with the better business bureau (http://houston.bbb.org/) as well as writing a very very lengthy review on Overclock.net, which you probably know is a huge site which a large portion PC community is subscribed to, I have waited 4 months now for proper keys and you have refused to answer my questions or send proper keys.
If you do not wish to email me back please feel free to call me at 555-555-5555... I expect to be hearing from you soon, I file the paperwork with the state of Texas tomorrow.

Anyways I am getting all my things in order, I am sure my case will never make it to court seeing as its $30, I'm not honestly upset over the money I just feel like not only was I robbed here, I was molested as well...

Anyone had any similar encounters with this site?

On-topic though wrong section:

Small claims court is worth it for 3 keys? Here in Quebec I think its like $50 even for small claims

Its not worth it, its to prove a point.

If you google where to buy diablo 2 keys, this site is noted on many many sites as reputable. I would have never bought anything from them if I thought they weren't safe.

You should have spent the extra money and actually bought the game and not just the keys.. and why do you need 3 keys? Cough botting cough I suppose?

"I'm going to write a very long thread on OCN"

Sounds rather unprofessional and desperate. Do you know how many people threaten with legal proceedings at work and then never ever follow through tongue.gif

I am not worried whether or not they think I am desperate the fact of the matter is that I am getting the information out there, potentially saving another person from all this trouble and anger. These posts are exactly what I search google for when buying from a site I am not sure about, and if I prevent one person from being scammed, than I have redeemed myself and my $30.

If you check my previous posting you can see that I play in a large lan party group and I front all the money, hence the reason I buy multiple copies of all my games.

I would have bought the hard copy but it was still $30 at walmart, and I didn't have $90 to drop on a 11 year old game that may or may not run on my windows 7 computer.

Hehe, sounds good biggrin.gif. I wouldn't go to court though, unless you are really really really mad, and you want to lose money just to prove a point.

It would cost you more to launch small claims court proceedings in this case...
