I never said you were in the wrong wanting a refund, not once. Your leverage in this situation was one thing and one thing alone: your paypal transaction. Paypal will (LOL) for sure not give you your cash back for a transaction like this. Your only play here was to use that dispute as your leverage. They do not give two squirts about the BBB or the small claims court threat. Nor OCN review. lol. You had one shot, and you took it to soon and lost the game.

This is how it is with the information you gave us. Black and white with no grey.

One of the many reasons why A) I don't trust/use paypal, B) I stick to reputable vendors.

MMO1st.com

Isn't that one of those companies that spams for gold in World of Warcraft, Rift & Aion?

PayPal can't defend people from poor judgement/bad decisions.

Paypal should not be trusted and I encourage others to use alternate methods of financial fun on the internet.[1] HOWEVER. That has not a thing to do with this users situation. He essentially shot himself in the foot while hanging himself with the rope. That is not paypals fault. They were just playing their side of the game.

Not buying from the chinese? really that is the single most racist thing I have ever heard.

I did learn this lesson the hard way, and I hope no one else has to deal with the same hassle.

it wasn't racist, buying from a website that is a powerleveling, goldfarming it's always something to suspect...and when it comes to games go check local stores or play.com or whatever or even blizz website in this case

You could have said Never buy from gold farmers... Instead you said "chinese" that was racist.

I already stated that I wasn't willing to pay $30 for an 11 year old game, its actually $40 in the blizzard store for Diablo 2 + LOD, and in that same sentence I understand that paying $8 a key might have thrown a red flag, but even $8 for an 11 year old game is still steep, I didn't by Crysis 2 when it was $10 shortly after launch.

This is what I meant by buying hard copies lol, ALL(or most) of those sites that sell Items, Gold Etc Etc are Chinese/XXXXXX non US places, when you file that's another 30$ some dollars 60$ then you have to think of time, etc, plus you will lose because they don't have are laws like this basically it's not different then you going to China, buying something and then coming back only to find out you just payed 500$ for a fake watch.

I understand that, I had a false sense of security with paypal and that was my own fault.
