Hmm, this is a very good question. I am sitting here, staring at my old 300W PSU and its molex connectors. The 550 sleeving seems like it would give you issues if you tired to slip it over the wire, down to the pin, and back up the other wire. Let me take one of mine apart I have partially sleeved and see if I can figure something out for ya.

Also: I got my heatshrink tubing from eBay. I ordered the cheapest heatshrink I could find in the right OD. Do NOT do that. The 2:1 stuff simply doesn't shrink enough. My sleeving has been seriously hurt by the lack of shrink. Get 3:1. I promise you, it's worth it!
I can't emphasis this enough either, I too bought my heat shrink kit on eBay, when it arrived I saw it was 2:1 and used if on a few test pieces. The sleeving still slid up the wire with the lightest pull and using the correct OD heat shrink.
