I had 6870 and 560 Ti...6870 went back to Fry's. But I get antsy when I see BC2 using 75% of its framebuffer. ;-(

6950 2GB unlockable will probably be the speediest, but consider AMDs track record of driver bugs.

I dunno...6950 or 560 Ti...toss a coin!

get a 560 ti evga or something with better cooling. take it from someone who has a 6950 2gb unlocked to 6970.

Wow, really? I agonized over the 2 for a month. Due to past driver bugs and ATIs ridiculous blower fan I always knew it'd be the 560, but the perf/power/2GB had me guessing.

Why do you feel this way? What bothers you about the 6950?
The Nvidia GTX 560Ti and AMD Raedeon 6950 run neck in neck with each other. When both heavily over clocked same as they both over clock nicely.

In all honesty it's a flip the coin toss up. I know that dosen't help, except for the fact either way your not making a mistake. It's great performance for gaming right now.

On a single monitor the VRM isn't going to help performance as it's not going to use it. There aren't FPS gains until a second monitor is going to be used.

If your thinking of possibly adding a second monitor then go with AMD 6950.
If your thinking of possbily adding a 120Hz 3D moinitor go Nvidia 560Ti.
If your not thinkiing about either and sticking with single 60Hz mointor flip a coin.

Good luck and post back with your updated outcome once you purchase.

Edited to add: BTW it's a good idea to go to 'edit systems' in your profile and add your computer spec when posting. It helps the members giving you advice/helping a better understanding of what the OP is dealing with. Most importantly - Welcome to OCN.

the 560 performs heaps better at lower resolutions you should definitely shoot for that
