i also have one and i love it, theres only one problem with it.

after a while the wheel starts to "squeak" a bit, when you are using it, mine did, but it has gone away now.

Ive had both the old one was great and the 4G one is better.. much more battery life and deeper sleep mode

Will say the comment is true about the squeaky wheel on the old mamba but the 4G i havnt had any issues yet

Never had any problems with them myself alot of people claim things mate but most of the time its the user doing something wrong and they blame the item.

Regards

How much longer battery life? My first gen gets about.. 14 hours tops, if I remember correctly, I always just use wired mode now.

is the software for the 4g any better?

it takes very long for the software to open and close itself on the first gen.

I like my Mamba 4G a lot...
Btw, I don't use the Configurator, just save the best settings then remove the driver. It will take you soooooo looooooong to read all 5 profiles when opening.

I believe mine is first gen (cant change the light, so consant blue) and it and the logitech g7 is the best mice i have ever had, but the mamba is best.

Due to not having to change batteries, wired and wireless mode, it has a beast grip, and it is just pure awesomeness.

only thing that could be improved would have to be the price IMO.

It isn't perfect, but I like mine. I've read that the new version has better battery life, a new secondary sensor to adress the original twineye's lift off issue, revamped drivers and better lighting.

I can't find the Razer Mamba 4G anywhere in stock!

Does anyone know where I can get this mouse ASAP?

Thanks.
