Would you recommend a T block fitting?

Hey guys, so im building my loop probably next week and want easy drainage. Is a T fitting the easiest way? How exactly do i use it? I cant find anything.

Is it so that you just have the T and for instance run one bit of tube from the cpu to the left part of the T, another bit of tube from the right of the T to the res and another bit of tube just hanging from the bottom? Would the loop flow right like that?

I would put the t block at the lowest part of the loop. This way it'll be easier to drain.

I know to put it at the lowest part of the loop. But is there a fitting to put at the bottom of the T or do i have to have a tube hanging down with a stopper? So when i drain it i either release the tube or the fitting?

To Drain

Drain T piece will be fitted at the lowest point of the loop - But not in-front of the pump

Tline tube and then a stop cap is the easiest way.

Unless you can get a cup ect under the T. In that case you could put a stop cap on the T. as long as its the right type of T, because on some it will block all flow through the T.

Tube is the easiest way, but can be an eye saw.

On the drain if you wish you can use Ball value or quick release fittings. this means that the drain tube can be removed while not draining.

You may also want a air vent at the top of the loop, Its not necessary but water can only flow out if it can be replace with air and blocks tend to airlock. Do this with a T block and stop cap or pressure value at the top of loop. Then you drain you would uncap the drain line and let out what it can. And then open the cap on the T (or press the vent on the pressure value) use paper towel incase it spits. The drain line will then release more. Water my get trapped in the Rads though.

Thanks alot for the reply. I dont know if i will go for a T block. Maybe jus remove the CPU waterblock and drain it. Then i can clean all the parts.

Well the T block is

FLOW IN > T > FLOW OUT
................V
.......DRAIN LINE

and the tube is the drain line, so if you have a Ball value or quick release fitting you can lock it off(stop the flow) and remove that tube. So its neater.

Well im using 7/16" and 5/8" OD tubing and compression fittings. Is there a good T block and valve for that?

So that tube hanging down wont cause the natural flow of the loop to have any issues then?
