Stock clocks, fan was running at 60% (2000rpm) so should have some room for overclocking. It makes an awful noise at 3000rpm though.

Thought I posted in this thread earlier, must need more coffee...
The dcuII is a proven overclocker, & you also being a benchmark junkie would likely be a bit better than a card with 3Gb of vram for benching.
Don't get a 590, you would hurt the poor thing...

hehe your right after what if read in the last hour about the 590 being "OC FRIENDLY" its a no for it. But my brother in law being an evil pc trader offered me 2x GTX580 1536MB 384bit Phantom for 730$ and even though a good bit more then the 590 should outperform it by a heavy margin right?

it looks like the lightning is available and apparently he has a lot of them so ill get it for the same price as the phantoms so 730$ for 2x GeForce with CUDA GTX 580 OC MSI 1536MB Lightning OC which seems to be an all around winner

in the end my brother in law offered me 2xGeForce with CUDA GTX 580 OC MSI 1536MB Lightning OC for 730$ and I couldnt just say no what kind of oc should I be expecting from these and whats the max safe voltage when on air i can put through them for benching? ill be running the fans at a 100% for benching and ambient is gone be between 7-9c
