Hi all, just moved some stuff around in my room and tidied up the inside of the pc, so here are some pictures...with a phone camera my bad....

Struggling to think of something to do with that umbilical cord of cables running along the wall, maybe straighten it up and fix some sort of conduit over it

Excuse the messy room too tongue.gif

Buy this in white, then paint it your wall color and it will literally disappear.

What is that, some kind of conduit?

I want my place to look like this, very much

creative-workspace-02.jpg

Shouldn't be an expensive build either, doesn't look like too much area, and easily a block frame and steel joists for the floating floor. Some window's wouldn't go amiss though xD

Those are called cable raceways. All professional installations use them to hide unsightly wiring. The wiring goes inside of them and once you paint them wall color, they disappear. I'm actually doing my bedroom theater setup right now as well as my theater room, so I'll show you some pics when I'm done.

Another thing you could do with the wires, instead of running them all about a foot up along the wall, run them all along the base of the desk. Join together all the cables that are going to your TV, and put them all straight down, and into that bunch along the desk. Then you can use conduit or loom to hide them.

Basically, put the mess on the backside of the desk. Even if you just hid it with wire loom, it would look 100x better.

Otherwise looks great. smile.gif

Honestly there was a reason I didn't have it like that, I think it was because the bezel/surround on my old tv was a lot wider so tucking them under the TV hid a huge majority of them

Also that coffee machine you see, was between my monitor and pc. In creating a cleaner, larger work space, I uncovered previously hidden cables, and thy also dropped down from under this tv in time for the picture too

I shall undo the cable ties and see where it gets me now smile.gif
