Help Choosing monitor for Dorm

Hey everyone,

Im heading off to my first year of college in a week, and I was having a hard time deciding on a monitor/tv.

I really wanted a monitor for their higher quality displays compared to hdtvs, but I have no way to connect a monitor to coaxial cables.

It also need to be able to connect to a ps3.

Can anyone help recommend a tv/monitor that would be the best quality?
Im trying to keep it under $250. Best buy would be a plus as I have giftcards there.

You won't find a monitor with a coax.
So that means you'd have to go with a HDTV.
If you did go with a monitor, it would be as simple as connecting the PS3 to the monitor via HDMI.

go with the monitor and pick up an extra hdmi cable for like $5 online.

And don't pick up a HDMI cable from BestBuy. There goes like 15$ right there. Go to MonoPrice and buy it for ~3-5$.
