I've got a 32 gunzerker and felt similarly to you. The beginning levels are rather lame, as the "coolness" factor of the special ability is largely dependent on the skills and guns you have. In the end I found that dual wielding high damage shotguns with the "Gun Lust" tree provides for an enjoyable degree of mayhem. Expect to get knocked down a lot, but second winds are pretty easy to come by with the build. Also, you tend to shred through any type of badass/super badass at point blank range in under 2 seconds.

Cool. I'll give him a playthrough and hope he gets better. Seems like the rampage tree will be great with smg/chainguns. Interested to see how dual pistols work in the gun lust tree since there are quite a few talents for that.

Those constructors are hard at the beginning if you are going it alone. But, like everyone already said: Corrosive weps...you have to have at least 1 really decent one for robots. The main point of the constructor battles: Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
is to keep killing the "Repair" thingies flying around him from restoring it's health. You have to keep those down to keep it's health depleting. Shoot the eye, it's the critical point. Use a good cover spot to avoid the heat seekers. I'll check but I think my lowest lvl corrosive is a couple of lvls above you. Maybe one of the guys has one you can use, I'll ask them in a bit.

I like my Gunzerker, lvl 37, and I feel I can hold my own with it. Honestly, this is gonna be my main character come rain, sleet or snow. That's how much I like it. The trick is getting a decent mix of weps and how you place them in your pack for when you Gunzerk. Picking the Rampage skill tree first worked for me. Get a good sniper if you can find/trade/ask for one and keep that in your pack. Just cause the skill is gunzerking doesn't mean you can't play tactically as well. 90% of the time my pack looks like this: Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
RqdAH.jpg

Moving in: Snipe
Work's getting closer: Scroll down and use an SMG/Assualt Rifle
Bad Azz or Mob comes out: Scroll down once more to the "punching" slots and mash the gunzerk button.

Maybe it's just cause it fits my play style, I guess. I love being in the middle of an angry mob cracking skullz... thumb.gif
