i5 2500k to 5.0ghz on air Finally! - Page 2

OP mentioned Small FFT's... However, Small FFT's is easy VS Blend test. A Sandy is far from stable just because it can pass Small FFT's for a while.

Only Blend custom with most of the RAM used and 12 hours + is good enough to say stable in my opinion.

he did say he got blend stable for 8hrs. he also mentioned he didn't take screenshot.
whether he wants to do run the stability again just to take screenshots or even run it longer to prove it really is stable is o/p's decision. i guess he just wants the bragging rights even though half of ocn members are not gonna believe it without a screenshot:rolleyes:

Unlucky Hacksword, Intel Burn Test when updated with Windows Service pack 1 puts full stress on cpu, thats where you should see high Gflops in IBT (100 or so).

When you can do 20 passes on that with full RAM and stress levels, then you know your set wink.gif

Just a note, IBT with AVX requires a bit more voltage than blend testing. I recommend trying prime blend, it may take a long time to get stable but once you do it will and should be stable for anything else.
