PII X4 945 (non-BE) overclocking results... - Page 2

So I've played around a bit more with the settings, I got the chip to go as high as 4GHz using 1.475v This wasn't stable though, but could get into windows and whatnot. I backed down to 3.9GHz which I thought was 100% stable but after like 8 hours saw that F@H had hung after completing the WU. At 3.9GHz the hottest it got to was 50C while running IntelBurnTest which completed on the VeryHigh stress setting.

Now I'm testing 3.8GHz at 1.45v, HT @ 2032mhz with CPU/NB at 1.225v @ 2540mhz, mem @ 1354mhz 7-7-7-24 1T.

Pretty good for a HSF that's over 6 years old

Yeah 8bit, I went with AMD because I have hope that BD will be kickarse and won't cost as much as Intel's current top offering. At this point I don't care that much if it doesn't end up smoking it core for core, but I hope at least it's competitive and priced right.
