It's beautiful.

Can always get a 750w gold class, modular, for same price as that XFX XXX 850w

Like this Sentey I assume you are planning a 2nd 6950 in the near future if you are looking at 850w PSU's :0

So is there anyway I can get a tutorial on how to overclock to 4.5? Will I bottleneck at all?

Will 1866 vs 1600 Dominator make a huge difference?

You'll see almost no difference between the Vengeance 1600 and the Dominator 1866. IMO, go with the Vengeance 1600 as its tried and tested to perform well with the 2500k.

As for the rest of your rig, it looks pretty good but I have a few suggestions:
  • Is there any reason you're going with a Z68 board over a P67? From your build it doesn't sound like you're going to use any of the features of the Z68, so you might as well stick with a solid and reliable P67 board.
  • As an above poster said, getting the Samsung Spinpoint F3 will be a better choice than the W.D. and they run at the same price point.
  • As for PSU, I'm not familiar with the XFX line but I've heard that they make quality products. I myself would go with a Corsair HX or AX850 (or 650, if you're not planning to SLI in the future) as they're known to perform well and be reliable.

I'm one of those people who is all about maintaining reliability and stability while gaining the maximum performance possible. As such, most of my above recommendations are for "true, tried-and-tested" products that have been known to perform well and be reliable.

Getting the 2500k to 4.5Ghz should be easy and will only take you a few minutes. There's a ton of different threads around here on how to OC the 2500k for every imaginable board. Once you decide what board you're going to buy, just search "*board name* 2500k overclock" and you should get some good information. If you end up going with any of the ASUS P67 boards, let me know and I can give you a hand OC'ing.
