Dell U2211H vs Asus VH242H

Hi guys, title speaks for itself.
Looking for a monitor in the $100-$300 range. This monitor will be used as a secondary monitor. However, I will use the TN panel as a main monitor if I spring for it.

So, which one should I buy? Are there any other recommendations in that range? I was hoping to buy a TN panel.

Thanks!

@phain, I already have one of those. With the computer I'm selling I'm selling both of my old 20" screens. Debating whether to get another one of those Asus 24" screens or a Dell 22" IPS.

Hrm well if they are both 1080p, i'd probably get the u2211h. I own the vh242h and it's a great monitor but why go for the old tn tech when you can purchase an ips monitor for the same price? The 242h also has some pretty washed out colors without tweaking it manually and I doubt the ips panel would require heavy calibrating. And a 22" @ 1080p will most likely look better than a 23.6" at the same resolution...so i'd say go for the dell.

Oh and yeah, ASUS customer service truly is horrendous. If you're afraid of having to deal with any type of service, stay away from ASUS.

I'd recommend the IPS one (u2211h) just because it will look much better, and not be that much smaller in comparison. here's a pic.
