Thread Starter
Hello, i just switched out my motherboard with xfx nforce 680i lt and i redid my OS and i put in my motherboard disk installed the chip ect... and for some reason i can't get my network adapter to show up in device manger. I have tried to do this with the disk 3 times then i tried to get them off the nvidia website and i can't get anything to work.

Any ideas what the problem might be?

If it's not showing in Device Manager, then it may be disabled in the BIOS in the Integrated Peripherals area. Can you check there to see?

Oh damn, it's a good thing you asked. I just looked at my old manual, and I forgot that it isn't straight forward. Here's where to go (at least, this is the way it was in my EVGA 680i SLI):

Integrated Peripherals > MAC Config

In here, you might see "MAC0 LAN", and "MAC1 LAN". For me, these were both of my ports and I actually had to experiment by disabling one and then disabling the other one just to see which one I was using. lol

So yeah, "MAC0 LAN" and "MAC1 LAN" were my two ethernet ports (my network adapters).
