Doesn't the BIOS warns you when creating a RAID that all data on the drives will be lost?

Locked multi would be a downgrade. Would hit 4.4 GHz anyway but I'm not sure were the top bclk for my board lies.

Thanx! Found one. Gonna order tomorrow if I do not get better answer from "my" store.

Btw, what stepping do you have? What is the highest stable OC you've reached?

It's a B1 stepping, same as my old E5620. The highest I've reached completely stable is 4.4 GHz (4.37 in windows) with 1.36875V. I haven't tried it much higher than that due to my high ambient temps (like 75*F+ in my room thanks to the 90+ weather).

Getting over 4.3 GHz requires a nice jump in voltage unless you got a good chip, been running 24/7 on 4.24 GHz stable at 1.3375V though. Very impressed with the chip, the sensors for the temp readouts are messed up though, last core says 50C at idle haha.

I use water to cool my 975. Heat is not a problem. But guess it is a bad idea using more than 1.40 volts for 24/7 use anyway?
Was hoping for 4.5 GHz+ for 24/7 use, but will settle for 4.4. My 975x has a bad mem controller, requiering 1.54v QPI/VTT and will run 4.4 GHz a few hours light load. But no more than a few minutes max load then BSOD 0124. That's no matter what voltage I use.

Was hoping for better OC with the w3680.
