This is just a well deserved praise. First Logitech speakers are phenomenal, spend only 75$ on a surround sound system and it will blow your mind.

Anyways, I hate the z-540s. A lightning hit our house, 2/3 channels in the sub screwed up. But everything was working fine onyl the sub needed fixed or replaced. I emailed Logitech, it was past warranty, and they just sent me the brand new system, the z506, 90$ system. So now I have the cables split, so I have two subwoofers running XD

Yeah, Logitech's service is awesome. I have a G19 keyboard and one of the tilt legs broke. So I emailed them asking if I could buy a pair since it was just a tilt leg and I saw that they sold them for like $2. They told me they actually didn't have any and that it would be better to RMA the keyboard. So I did and they sent me a brand new sealed G19, just because of a $2 broken tilt leg.

Logitech has good service, but I wouldn't exactly call their speakers "good". They will serve their purpose, obviously, just not as well as other speakers at the same price.

Logitech is behind in the speaker market, I can vouch, and I've already lost three speakers from I don't know where The sub is decent, but that's the only part of it I like. Keyboards/mice on the other-hand, are amazing.

Logitech speakers are fine simply because options are extremely limited at their budget. Even then, one could get better results with a receiver and some passives, but most people just want a simple 1-step pre-setup system for PC speakers, and really 5.0 for that price is pretty decent, regardless of the actual quality. In terms of fidelity, Logitech speakers are really behind, relying more on gimmicks and taglines (THX certified, etc.).

I actually had a set of Z-2500s that broke last year a year or two out of warranty but I contacted the anyway. They couldn't give me a replacement but they offered me a 50% off customer loyalty coupon for any set of speakers in their online store. They truly have awesome service.
