H70 Temps

hi i just did a small OC 3.6 mhz, and run Prime 95 on blend . my temps are around 59 room temp is 28c does that seem high when my room temp is kinda high v core goes to 1.49 when running prime 95

one other thing . do i need to turn turbo off when doing a OC in the bios or will it not kick in if u OC

I dont think you have to turn off turbo.But i dont know about the temps Seems Good..

Turbo is of no use in AMD systems when you're overclocking. Disable it. As for your temps, you're running close to the max for your chip. I'd try lowering your ambient, and maybe reseating your h70.

Temps seem ok ish. With 1.49 im sure you could hit 4 with no probs as most thubans can achieve this. Also the h70 isnt amazing, its on par with the meghalems or the dh14 at best. Although max stated temp for thuban and phenom II chips in general is 62oC the sensors are usually quite inaccurate and thubans are known to be stable at slightly higher temps. Because you are priming it is ok, gaming loads should be around 50-55oC. If its really bothering you remount and repaste, also crank up the fan speeds.
