Well yea, but basically the point is that the 6990 and 590 pretty much hold the crowns for AMD and NVidia. The 5970 is only good for something we can't talk about.

EDIT: That is not to say it's slow, but it's not the fastest anymore.

EDIT: But ya, the 6990 and 590 are basically the fastest off the shelf GPUs. As said before, it is possible to OC a GPU soo high with extreme cooling, and has been done. I think the overall idea we are trying to convey though is that the 5970 isn't the fastest GPU in the world. It used to be, but was replaced by the 6990.
