About the B3: http://event.asus.com/2011/mb/Identify_B3_Motherboards/

I recommend the Pro instead of the Deluxe. It's an overkill model.

Cheers folks,

Looking at the basket Andrew posted earlier (https://secure.scan.co.uk/aspnet/Sho...f8f96353cb7808) I think I'll use this, except change the PSU for a non modular one. The case (http://www.fractal-design.com/?view=product&prod=48) sits the PSU at the bottom anyway.

Does this one seem a suitable replacement? http://www.scan.co.uk/products/600w-...et-fan-atx-v23

That change brings the grand total to about £950 inc VAT + delivery.

lol why did you get the Asus Z68? it should have been explained that the only real benefit over the P67 is the onboard GPU and SSD caching, which are both in my opinon worthless features and does not warrant the extra cost over the P67.

The build in the OP was perfect, however the PSU is overkill for a single card, a 500w would power that up no problem but if your intentions were to do CF then that PSU would do the trick, however again, you could have got a cheaper 650w PSU, the XFX Core edition (non modular) or the XFX XXX edition (Semi Modular) go for around £65/75.

Nevertheless you've already bought your components so enjoy your new rig.
