Lighting Issue

My computer will have a red and black interior, and I wanted to get some lights for the inside but ran into too many choices. What is better for appearance, red lights or UV with red cables? Which option would be less power consuming? I saw some invertorless lights which would be good for less wires in the case, but I don't know enough about LEDs, UV, and cold cathodes to make a choice.

Red LED's will use less power and look good. I have no idea how the UV would look with red, but I do know it would use more power.

Personally I use red LED's and it looks menacing. Good enough for me.

OK, to put things into perspective, UV light does not really produce much visible light, but will cause UV reactive items (e.g. UV cables) to glow.

For the same type of lighting, the color doesn't have any significant effect on power consumption; e.g. a red CFFL uses the same power as a UV CCFL.

LEDs are more for spot lighting and close range, while CCFLs have a broad spread of light for large area illumination.
