mobo temp software vs other?

i was just wondering if my temps were accurate. im using the program that came with my mobo.
3.8ghz 1.44v (loaded) but temps are 59 after 10min in prime
i have a spire thermax eclipse with push/pull. and the cooler got great reviews but i was just wondering if my program was accurate. just wondering what you guys thought i should do.

It's probably not a problem but I would download some other things just to make sure they are fairly close on reading the same thing. Get some things like speedfan and realtemp to see if they show the same thing. If everything works out together then it should be fine.

Yea those are good. Just try some things to see if they match up.

I use hwmonitor. I here coretemp and speedfan are good

I use core temp. I have HWmonitor too. But they always report the same core temps and that is all that matters to me. I would imagine that 59c is at the socket and the core temp is much lower especially since essentially we have the same motherboard/ cpu combo. If it is not, I would think you would need to reapply the thermal paste or something because that is affully warm for that voltage/ overclock. Just my .02

I have a cool desktop widget for core temp too. Sits on my other screen with my video card temp/load widgets.

this is what i got with CPUID hardware monitor. the cores never got off 26degrees. now is that 56degrees the socket temp? because its the same as my mobo software.

Yeah, I believe that's the socket temp. From what I've heard, that can be from poor case cooling, but don't quote me on that.

iv got plenty of case cooling 3 140mm and 1 230mm.

all the progs iv tried say the same. speedfan, HWmonitor and my mobo software what should i do? i guess ill back my voltage down a bit and try that
