Water evaporating?

Thread Starter
So, about 2 weeks ago I did my first water cooling project. (Very fun project )

and lately I have noticed that my reservoir has had, less and, less water. I checked everywhere for leaks but could not find any any, so, where is the water going? Should i be worried?

Thank You

Is your reservoir sealed with an O-ring? If so, a leak is indeed the most likely culprit. How fast is the water level dropping?

how long has your loop been assembled? There is likely a ton of air throughout your loop, and its slowly coming out. The water takes the place of the air in the loop, and the reservoir looks less full. If you don't see water, it should be fine.

My loop has been assembled for around 2 weeks

Edit: Im guessing its what yanks said because i cant really find any leaks.

yeah, there is that. However it could be a slow leak, on that you won't notice. I've hear stories of pumps have very slow leaks that weren't easily noticeable because it evaporated before it made a large puddle. So fill it up, give it some more time and if the problem continues you just have a very slow leak, somewhere.

100ml is a leak ..OR lots of air has bleed out.

put paper towel under all connections and see if the paper becomes wet over time. I would recommend only running the pump for now. Its not worth risking all your componen

It could be a bust O ring on a big block .i.e round the back of the gpu where you wont see.

hey a slow leak is better than fast/explosive one ...though much harder to find.
