Thread Starter
Q6600 - G0:
24/7 overclocked to 3.4ghz at 8x multiplier with 1.39v
VID: 1.25

EVGA 780i FTW:
Not much to say other than the above Q6600 ran in it

GSKILL 800mhz 4x1GB set:
Has red heatsinks and I currently have it overclocked to 850MHZ (5-5-5-15)

Cooler Master V10:
Unmodified, just too big for the case I'm going to move to. I have still have the original box and accessories.

Nice vid Most you see around these days are 1.350v vid....

Q6600 - 105 shipped
780i board - 50 Plus shipping
With ram being so damn expensive I am thinking 50 shipped

BTW, your Q6600 can run MUCH faster than 3.4GHz. Look at mine 1860 FSB ^_^ Just takes a lot of work though to get the Term just right.

I'm running 1700fsb but I think it's the motherboard that's holding it back. I've got it to boot at a higher FSB but it takes more volts than I'm comfortable with. The Nvidia chipsets were never the best for overclocking.

That's some serious value deprecation!

Thanks though!

EDIT: Your sig says you have a V8, is that what you were referring to?

The 780i FTW motherboard does have a low FSB wall, at least mine does. That's why I have to keep my multi @ 9 and run 9x433 to get 3.9ghz.

If this thing is still floating around in a few more weeks then I might scoop this up. It would be nice to have a twin pc, so then I can make one my file server only.

But I wish I had a ud3p or (r) motherboard so I can crank my q6600 over 4ghz. I cannot get my 780i over 435fsb stable with any voltage (I've tried lol)
