What would you pick?

Between a GTX560 TI and a 6950 1GB for 1920x1200 what would you pick?
6950... but I'm biased. And have no logic to back that up. Other than the fact that I have only ever used AMD GPU's... I guess you could call that some sort of "logic".

LOL this is a daily question here isnt it? They go back and forth depending on game. I personally currently own both the 6950 2GB and the 560TI. I find the 6950 is more powerful in general. I find the 560 ti is better suited to Crysis 2 of course and more tessellation heavy usage.

Whichever one is cheaper.

Though I would probably pick a 6950...sense A 6950 is a bit better than a 560Ti

I would have to agree! There both pretty good cards TBH. Each card should do everything you would want them to do.

This would be for 100% use on BF3 when its released..

If the 6950 is the 2 gb version than I would say ya. But there is still a little time for you to save up for the 6970 2gb. That will handle everything you can through at it. I had that and now have the GTX 580. I have to tell you I was not disappointed with the the 6970. I t played every game on max np without a hiccup. The only reason I have the 580 is because of a rma and that was cause by my power supply.

I'd like to keep it at $250 something that is small cool and quiet. And the ability to add after market coolers on it..

Your signature already lists a GeForce GTX 560 Ti?

Anyway, if this is the case, ask again when the game is released. Nobody knows which'll be better for that game, and prices are not likely to go up on GPUs in the time between then and now, so wait and see, and perhaps save money too.

Patience is a virtue.

560 Ti for BF 3 , has much stronger tessellation.
