Performance comes secondary for me because I find the performance differences to be fairly negligible anyway.

What is the advantage a company gains by having its browser used by more people?
I also dont like chrome layout. The biggest annoyance for me is the download tab and also the popup at the bottom everytime I download something.

Is it me or chrome is far slower than firefox when loading a very image heavy site?
