My really old non-techie parents have over 15 browser tabs open at a time. Large browser tab scaling is more important than some people here realize.
I think this article only really speaks to those who use tonnes of tabs, because i dont use more than 5 and well i havent compared the 2 myself at any one time, its really a none issue for me to be honest.

My experience with FireFox is that it consumes MASSIVE amounts of RAM in everyday use, which is rather annoying. I'm not talking 300MB mind you. More like 2.3GIGAbytes. Now with 8GB in the tank, it's not a problem. It just irks me to have a web browser use that much....
A friend of mine regularly has about 200-300 tabs open quite often in FF...

Personally, I can't stand having more than about 10 or 15 open.

Wait, this is OCN, and most of you don't open more than 10 tabs? WHAT? I usually have atleast 50-100.

I don't get this whole browser stuff. I like FireFox, I use FireFox. Who cares which one is the "fastest."
I just wrote a batch file to open 150 websites simulateneously. It certainly does not take 6 minutes...

Worthless test. How about testing the browsers with a number of tabs that your average user would have open at once. Between 5-25
