I'd like something... a little smaller than the NH-D14. - Page 4

Don't say i didn't warn you when your VREG/NB are idling at 65C+ and your VREG hits 90C under load......

Edit: you posted another post as i was writing this about upgrading to a better mobo. that may be a good route to go, but you will have to completely reinstall your OS. if you do that, look aroud first. I got quite lucky, got my EVGA FTW3 for $50 on ebay because it "didn't work"

All the better reason for a new motherboard!

not to sound like a ahole but you do realize that Crucial/Kingtson/G.Skill/Mushkin are all GREAT RAM company's? Sure I love Corsair but their RAM isnt the greatest for tight timings.

Not talking about RAM at the moment. We're talking about cooling!
PS: Nothing you can say will change my mind

I'll just get the H60. Cheaper than the other options and I'm not looking for the best cooling out there. If my motherboard can't handle the heat, I'll mount up some more fans or replace it.

personally, I wouldn't use the RAM fan thing, there's really just not THAT much use for it. Most RAM nowadays won't heat up that much, and you will be having lots of air flow and the D14 fan that is right in front of it will pull whatever hot air coming from the RAM itself. I would say take off the fines or just raise the D14 and don't use the ram cooler

It's not that easy. I had a D14 in my system just a few hours ago and switched it out for the H80 and my temps are about 7C cooler.
