LF Single 120Hz budgetish monitor

Thread Starter

Hey so I currently have a decent monitor, and by decent I mean cheap. Ive been googling and searching and reading these forums for the past few hours but I am still not sure what to get. I am looking to get a monitor that is:

$100-250
120hz pref
1920x1080 (need for sc2)
Dont care about 3D/multiple monitors
Single monitor for gaming (use dual monitor for extra stuff like web)
6970x2 Xfire Capable
22"-24"
Low g2g pref
Low response time pref
also I use 64bit win7 which has issues with some monitor softwares I heard...

I only care about gaming, and to some degree movies. I (will)play BC2/BF3/Skyrim, SC2 and thats probably it. So FPS and RTS really.

How important is response rate, hertz, and contrast? I have dynamic contrast (X-contrast) on my current monitor but it sucks cuz I can see it change.

Here are some monitors I am looking at.

Cheap

You need to check out this thread. It seems like for your application you would not want a 120Hz screen.
