Headset suggestions

Thread Starter
I want to upgrade my gaming headset.

Budget is around $100ish....give or take

Wireless is a must

MUST be super mega comfortable. Current headphones pinch my skull and give me headaches.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you

Usually headsets are very poor quality (with very few exceptions), and i don't think you can find any wireless with good sound and build quality in that budget
If you decide to go wired then Audio Technica AD700 + Zalman clip on mic is the best option on that budget.

In terms of sound quality... Far from fine. But if it's exclusively used for gaming, I guess is not that terrible. Yeah, but I agree with the guy above. Go with a good pair of cans

Yah headset will be used 100% for gaming. Wireless is not a MUST so if I can vastly improve sound quality and sacrifice wireless then that's fine.

Yeah, is better to go wired. Better sound quality.

The only decent wireless heaphones i've tried are the RS170's. They are way over your budget.

No, theres only 1 or 2 headsets worth of looking at and they are way over your budget.
the best you can get are the AD700 or HD555's and a Zalman clip on mic.
Also if you can try to get a used or refurbished Creative X-fi Titanium (DON'T GET THE FATAL1TY!!!!!) they are better for gaming than the Asus cards but if you are very tight on budget Asus Xonar card's (DG) are cheaper.
