We've had a few new way's of creating 3D objects, we started off with polygons, then movies started shifting to nurbs surfaces, but now everyone has been going back to polygons. The simplest method is the best in this case.

People aren't against great graphics. They are against being scammed however. These guys make a lot of claims but refuse to answer their critics, offer proper demonstrations, or allow a 3rd party investigate/use their software.

I was unconvinced a long time ago and I still am. I don't know this sort of technology all that well, but it seems obvious that building a model out of small parts, which when there are enough can create smooth-looking surfaces and such, would have insane hardware requirements for running it in realtime. Polygons are used to create simplified, "sleek" versions of whatever it is people want to portray. Imagine having a triangle, then replacing it with thousands of small objects (what are they, spherical or something?), enough to make it look like a triangle again. I can't dispel the thought of "vector graphics vs raster graphics" here. Which is going to take more hardware-brutism to render and run?

This was answered in the original thread, the Atomontage engine uses polygon meshes for non-static and animated objects.
