Great point.. + rep

It's a bit lower than the U2311h, but both are lwo enough to post no hinderance.

And yes, I have seen what it looks like. I've used the monitor myself, despite not owning one myself.

E- At others, the U2412m lacks the wide gamut of the U2412m, which makes it technically worse if you need that, and IIRC it has dithering, aside from that no real huge differences. Small input lag and ghosting difference.

de-zan have u ever had an IPS monitor ? ( not only see in the shop )
there many types of ag coatin.

Not owning one myself (i don't see the point of having one that I can afford since I consider my current screens superior to the models I can afford), however, I have dozens of hours of usage on multiple IPS monitors that my friends have, including the u3011, the ZR24W, and the U2211h, mostly, but I've also seen plenty more of them in shops, and know quite a bit about most of the models out there from having read a lot about each individual monitor model online. That is to say, I know how stuff works. And frankly, the AG would not be a huge issue for me, though I do see how it would annoy some.

Anyone hating on the U3011 for input lag obviously has never used one.
It's a phenomenal gaming monitor.

If you haven't used one, shutup, and talk about what you DO know.
Not what you don't. Sorry to sound like a prick, just saying.

And anyone who complains about needing a beastie GPU to game at 1600P needs to be thrown in a tar pit then sprayed with feathers. These IPS panels are not cheap.
I got mine for 1200 shipped with a 3 year warranty and it's without a doubt the sweetest purchase I've made in years. This monitor is amazing. Just stunning.

I came from a 23" 120hz and this monitor is WAY better.
I'd take this over 3 120hz" monitors anyday of the week and twice on sunday, as I hate splits between screens. (just my opinion)

Don't confuse your opinion with reality.

I have the monitor and I felt the same as you. It is impossible to go back to it after experiencing 120hz motion. The only thing I miss from the dell is the huge size in game. I am still shocked at the differences. The dell is better for everything else besides gaming. Even you would know this

I've used that apple cinema 30 a bit and input lag wasn't a major issue. I didn't notice it at all. The colors and viewing angles were top notch and the monitor just looks good. Its not a bad deal if you can find a clean used on on ebay or something.
