Athlon 64 x2 3250e Confusion!?

Thread Starter
I'm looking to buy an athlon 3250e to upgrade my emd620-ms2257 since its getting slow. On star micro they specify it as a a.5ghz dual core cpu while on AMD's list of sellers they say it's 2ghz dual core cpu. Which one is right???

1.5GHz is the correct stock speed. A review from Anandtech showed it's stock speed.

Should I buy a neo x2 6850e @ 1,8Ghz for 75$ on ebay or buy the 3250e on starmicro for 34$?

I guess I could find a way to overclock the 3250e to 1.8Ghz. Even if i dont know how at the moment nor if its even possible with this garbage laptop

Use it for internet browsing mostly and might use it in two years when i go to university. And since i'm used to my phenom x4 9750, I tend to have alot of stuff opened at the same time and oh, i like playing minecraft sometimes. atm the battery is dead -> 70% wear holds charge for half an hour. Got it for 20bucks. Great deal.
