I prefer the ps3. If it were me, I wouldn't just flat out quit PC gaming to own a console, but after living in a college dorm for a semester I realize how nice it is to have a console there (you're more likely to meet another console player to game with(anybody can pick up a console controller(etc))).
I own a PS3 and IMO it's got the better features of the two..not to mention I prefer the exclusives. The only thing I actually like about the 360 more is the controllers, but that's not a big deal.

Haven't really kept up with PS3 stuff lately, but wasn't there talk of being able to play psp games on the ps3 itself soon, or has that happened? That would be really cool..plus there are great games in the online store.

360. Cross game chat is really awesome. It's the one thing about the PS3 that just really bugs the hell out of me. Oh and the new Kinect experience (if you plan on getting a kinect) looks a lot better than the current offering. And there's Xbox backwards compatibility. PS3 is backwards compatible with PSX, but the current models won't play PS2 games.
