Big Tube Better ???

Thread Starter
So having a bigger tube like a 1/2 ID 3/4 OD (13mm-19mm) better in anyways then having somthing like 7/16 ID 5/8 OD (11mm-16mm) ? I mean is their any difference in performance or you get batter temps with a bigger tube?

I believe so. The bigger tubing allows for more waterflow with a powerful pump. A skinner hose can do just about as good since it kinda creates a more nosil/jet effect, spraying water through the block at a higher rate. I say go with what you think looks better. That's what I did. Hope this helps!

Yes, using 1/2 inch ID tubing gives better flow, and better cooling!

Just remember that will be a high flow system, so I can suggest the best water block for that would be the EK supreme HF
Plus you'll need a good pump to handle the job!
& maybe a nice 320 rad/res combo, with 6 fans in push/pull

Now that would be killer cooling!
Then work in a water chiller!
