All my systems have SSD boot drives... it helps when you have to reboot a lot... and for overclocking...

I tried a couple, the Corsair Force series works the best for me. Fastest of the cheaper ones too! The other 2 I tried locked up on overclock failures, couldn't reset them, format, nothing... RMA'ed them and got all Force series and never a problem now.

PS: And I must say, though it's a pain, this always works for me after reboot... or whenever...

sudo /etc/init.d/boinc-client restart

Of course, I also had to sudo my ownership on the host netowrk name and remote_hosts.cfg to set things up for my systems...
