^Sweet... sticking with XFX? I like XFX too. In fact, my 5850 is an XFX ref model. I haven't had to RMA with them yet, so I still like them too.

Not sure why you would need 2 cards for 1080p. People overestimate game requirements. One card is more than enough for everything high/on unless you want crazy amounts of anti-aliasing.

I just like dual-card setups. It's cheaper than a good single card anyway. 2 6870s on Newegg = $300. At least $50 less than a 6970, at least $120 less than a 580, and at least $30 less than a 570. While still running CrossFire.
