The Kingston HyperX 8gb kit on sale at New Egg right now.

KHX1600C9D3X1K2/8GX

Anyone know how this would work on AMD systems? I have pretty good RAM now, but would like 8gb at the right price.

Well I know the specs of it and stuff. I guess i meant to say feedback or input on how well it runs on AMD systems.

Im guessing CAS 9 at 1.65v would be noticeably different then my current CAS 6 at 1.58v.

Well you can go with Mushkin Enhanced Redline 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600 or G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600.

You are welcome. I was thinking that it was better off getting the better ram kit then generic ones.

Its tempting, but then the "do I really need it" stuff starts creeping through my brain. And i tell myself, "wait for bulldozer".
