Asus Maximus Extreme-Z28

Question about this:

1- The board is also equipped with two extra Molex connectors used for the optimization of the voltage while several graphics are used. It is surprising to have this kind of system on that kind of board that is limited to an 8x/8x link by the Intel P67 chipset.

That mean that I have to plug the two moles connector in order to have my 5970 and 5870 on the board??????????

2- The switches for the PCI-E lignes that allows to activate or deactivate the slots.

Should I turn off the PCI that I am not using????

3- The on/off switch for LN2. This enables a better stability of the board and CPU while using liquid nitrogen cooling on it.

Should I turn that switch on??? I am going to use water cooling.

4- This board has onboard audio, how good it is??? i have the Sound Card that came with my previous board, Asus Crosshair III..

Should i use the onboard audio or the sound card from my other motherboard?????

5- This Asus Maximus IV Extreme has four PCI-E 16x ( single @x16, dual @x8, triple @x8, x16, x16 ), one PCI-E 1x port and one PCI-E 4x slot.

in what slots should I put my video cards??? in this case 2 video cards....

6- The two first SATA connectors in red (starting at the top of the board) are managed by the Marvell controller and run at a maximum speed of 6Gb/s. The two other red ones are managed by the Intel controller and also reach the same speed of 6Gb/s. Finally the four connectors left are for the 3Gb/s link delivered by the Intel controller.

Can I connect my HDD to the 6GB Sata connector???

1) No its only for extreme overclocking, it provides extra power thats out of the pci-e spec.
2) No just leave it its primary function is for testing faulty cards.
3)No the LN2 is for extreme overclocking having cold boot issues.
4)Its a realtek 889 chip so same as 90% of all other onboard sound.....
5)Its in the manual for 2 cards use native x8 x8 configuration without nf200
6)Yes its backward compatible. Marvell ones might be slow use intel ones.

Btw your title is wrong its z68 not z28
