Advice build or no build

Thread Starter
Hey guys,

So here goes, I have the rig in the sig and I was wondering if it will be worth it to buy a new motherboard (z68 gigabyte) and a new cpu (2500k) plus vengeance 1600 8gb ram. Will there be noticeable difference in performance in games and virtual environment?

Thanks for your input!

Yes. You should get a SSD, too.

Yes from a dual core chip to a new SB Quad you will deffo see improvements in games as more games now use 4 cores.

SSD will also help speed up the system but if you cannot afford it then just get a Asus Z68 V Pro motherboard, a 2500k and 8GB 1600 RAM.

your 260 is out of date now too so you will also see gaming performance boost if you get new card as yours is not DX11. Something like a 560ti or if thats too much then a 460.
