How to ship a bare LGA775 processor?

Thread Starter
I have a bare lga775 proc that needs to be shipped and don't have any of the plastic holders from retail boxes or antistatic bags :/

What would be the best way to ship it? I have shipped other 775's by folding it in paper, putting it in a bag, and then wraping it with plastic wrap(worked just fine after my friend got it). Would this be sufficient? I'd like to know because I am shipping this one for a sale, not as a gift like the previous one.

Thanks ,

Saffah

i'd wrap it in paper first, since you know that isn't conductive, then wrap bubble wrap around it,

i wouldn't direcly put it in bubble wrap because the hair on my arms is attracted to it so i GUESS it might have some static

All I do is put it in an anti-static bag, then throw it in a padded envelope. Have done this for i7's to Pentium 4's.

make sure it's not a used sponge you don't want any oils or dirt on the contacts
