Swiftechs are rebranded Laings and Laing does not void your warranty if you put an aftermarket top on your pump.
The MCP35X is the only pump to use IF you wanted PWM, since Swiftech's is the only company with them. Other than that, Koolance, Danger Den and Alphacool sell the same pumps. Bmaverick sells the DDC-1 pumps here for super cheap also.

Sort of. Laings are actually in turn rebranded Delphis (you can see the raised lettering DELPHI on some DDCs, too) but I'm not sure if you can buy them with the original Delphi branding on them.

Don't know if there is a Laing version of the MCP35X like there is of the MCP655 (Laing D5 Vario) but I would get the Laing version (or other brands that don't void the warranty) over Swiftech any day due to Swiftech's change in policy regarding tops, if you open a Swiftech pump for any reason you void the warranty.

Laing and Delphi are actually partners, here is an article from 2007 talking about the collaboration between the two companies. The Delphi lettering may be because manufacturing is split between the two companies and the lettering denotes which company handled your manufacturing or it is branded on their specific patent within the pump as the two companies collaborate on the technology within the pump (haven't seen it myself) but Laing may hold the majority of the patents (as they pioneered the technology) and Laing is the company that sells the pumps to retail and other companies. Delphi appears to only be a supplier and does not sell products to retail only to other businesses.

800D... I have a 240gtx on the bottom and a 360gtx up top

pic (a little out of date, an AX1200 is in there now):

airflow setup is like this:

Here were the instructions I followed: http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=81698

Thanks guys, you've been alot of help. I might look into Case Labs, but they look a bit pricey and bulky looking to me. You can call me old-fashioned for that, as I still think of computer cases as the rectangle shapes of old. I had not seen the Elysium, I like it more than some I've seen, but I don't know if I like the front ports on top to collect dust, as I will usually have something plugged in and likely never use the dust cover. The Obsidian 800D on the other hand looks like a box. (I guess that's what any case is right?) That small defect out of the way, it is a strong case. Please keep the suggestions coming, the more I have to choose from, the better. Oh, and yes I'd be comfortable cutting/modding the case a little.

I will look into that XSPC radiator with so many people suggesting it. As for the pump, the vario-control was one reason I liked it, although not a real requirement as long as the pump I get is quiet at full speed.

Elganja, thanks for the pics, do you know what your air temps/air flow in your case are? Since I'm not getting full-card blocks for the GPU's I want to make sure the aftermarket heatsinks I am planning on will be adequate cooling for the GPU ram/ect, and that the MB itself will still have access to cool case air.

I did not have aircooling in this case.

TBH, I think this is a poor case for aircooling (not enough true intakes). You'd be better off with the HAF932 or an antec 1200 (something along those lines)

Op, how much would you like to spend on a case? That'll really help narrow the choices down.

Elganja, I meant what are your air temps in the case with the LC setup? I'm curious because the vram and such will be cooled by whatever air goes through the case.

Stallion, I'd like to spend around 150 or less, but I might would spend 200 on a good case.
