Is my 2500k stable?

Thread Starter
I have it set at 4 Ghz with 1.3 voltage. I ran Prime95 for 4 hours and then ran OCCT for an hour. Should I test more or do you think I am stable? Also, I got these pics from OCCT but I have no idea what they mean, can someone tell me if they are good or bad?

The highest temp I got under full load was 61c, it never goes above that.

1.3v is more than enough for 4Ghz so you're most likely stable. With 1.3v you could reach 4.4 - 4.5Ghz. If you're happy with 4Ghz then run Prime95 for 12 hours and do 50 runs of IBT . If you can pass that then your system is rock solid! If you want to go for higher frequencies then bump up the multiplier to 44 and test stability.

I always run Prime 95 blend full memory usage for 18+ hours for stability checking.

AFAIK occt uses avx linkpack aswell, but doesnt really do that much of a good job compared to prime blend.

I recommend running prime blend for a minimum of 12hours with 90% of your available RAM. Head over to the Sandy Stable club for more info.

I may try to push more out of the cpu in the future. I was just following a guide on here that said 1.3v is good for 4GHz. I can't link now because it's bookmarked on my laptop, which my mom is using right now.

I'll try Intel Burn Test, but how long does it take? I'd like to use my computer today and then run the tests at night if that's possible

I might just run that tonight then while I'm asleep. Either that or Intel Burn Test, but idk if I have to be there to monitor Intel Burn Test, so I'll see.

.
IBT doesn't take very long at all. It will however slow your system down a lot so it's best to just leave it running and do something else for 30-60 minutes. Prime95 doesn't really slow down your system that much. You can run it in the background and still use your computer normally.

Honestly I wouldn't worry too much about more testing. I have not been able to have more than a 4 hour run of Prime Blend, yet I have 0 issues gaming or crunching data for BOINC. I still want to shoot for a 12 hour run, but haven't even been able to do that at stock settings yet!

So like the 50 tests or whatever number it was before would only take about 60 minutes? Or would each test take like 60 minutes?

Yeah I know, but I'd like to try to get higher clocks in the future. Last night I learned how fun it is just to try to achieve higher clock speeds. So in the future if I buy watercooling equipment or something, I want to make sure I'm testing right, that's all
