Seriously! It feels like the graphics didn't get much improved from COD4:MW. Yet look at BF3...

BF3 was built from the ground up using DX11.

MW3 is using the exact same engine from the first MW, CoD4 - by the time MW3 releases in November, it would have been over 4 years (Nov. '07) since Activision has even attempted to improve the core engine/develop a new one.

CoD has its place in gaming, yes - but it's hard to even compare the level of complexity between the two games. Different playstyles, yes, but BF3 offers so much more than a re-used engine with re-skinned guns/animations/maps. I didn't feel any CoD after CoD4 felt any different than its predecessor - and it's too bad, there is so much potential for the twitch-shooter/arena/deathmatch-style shooter that CoD provides vs. the overarching war simulation/squad/large-team based shooter that BF provides.

In the end, BF3's content is just overflowing compared to what this latest CoD iteration will actually offer. Dedicated servers? Lol, you know it's a joke when CoD fanboys even offer up something that's such a given as dedicated servers as an "improvement."

I like CoD because it doesn't change too much, just enough to keep it interesting. It's a solid game, pretty much a staple. Ever since MW2's P2P mistake it's been bashed, people saying it's always the same, not changing enough or not updating the graphics. Obviously these are the people who fail to notice that this is why CoD sells. It's bread and butter for most gamers. Of course not many of you are gonna be bold enough to step forward and say you play it because most people on here are BF players and you'll just get slaughtered for it.

Gotta say, I'm buying it because CoD singleplayer has such a great feel to it and I've always enjoyed playing through, I enjoy the story.

Anyway, back on topic. The survival mode looks kinda cool, seems like a decent addition to sort of add more to the game. I hope it doesn't have a limit though, cause I can see people hitting a limit within the first week.

Definately looks pretty action packed though!

I can agree that most people on OCN are probably here to see if their PSU is overrated or their GPU is bottlenecking, but I can assure you 95% of the gamers on here have the basics down when it comes to game structure.

There's a reason that there's sections for that stuff you know.

Sure, there are people here who just express opinion on THE VIDEO.

The rest of those of course, say the same thing in every single time 35 times by trying to be funny in an attitude "Look how cool I am, I bash on what everybody bashes, I'm part of the group" is "pointing out". In every single thread I try to make some sense on why people who say "I don't care about MW" appear in every single thread about it.

Why? Are you just trying to piss people off by posting off-topic things like "I fell asleep" and "Reskin"? Isn't that against the TOS, and generally against being well-mannered?

Don't get me wrong, I have no problem seeing a thread called "What do you think about the Call of Duty series?" and see all the replies saying what you are saying here, but, going to a thread which you know you won't like, which you have stated a million times that you don't like, and posting spam, off topic posts, is insane.

Are you really THAT bored? Absolutely ridiculous.

Sure they might be little, but they still have made improvements. Don't say they haven't improved the engine.
