1055T 3.6GHz + GTX480 Bottleneck 70%

I do have my GPU download to 600 from 700 and undervolted from 1088mv to 0.925mv

Game play is smooth as silk, no big FPS drops, always stays quite high, but not 99% GPU Usage?

Or could it be my monitor's refresh rate maybe? Current Monitor settings: 1280x1024 @ 60hz

EDIT: Game was Dirt 3 that I just come off.

You don't exactly need 99% gpu usage to get 60 fps in games.

You said its silky smooth so it doesn't really matter. Your resolution is decently low so even fast CPU's will be the bottleneck with that fast GPU. Did you have Vsync on?

Yeah, ummmm, I'm still using a old TFT monitor here, Still putting money towards a new one.

And V-Sync was enabled yes, otherwise I would just get screen ripples all over.

Yeah the lower the resolution, the more cpu usage there is. Try pressing ctrl alt delete and opening task manager to monitor your cpu usage. If it gets maxed out, then it can't send the information to your gpu fast enough. Although it doesn't really matter as long as you get as much fps as your monitor's refresh rate. If you really care, overclocking your cpu would make the bottleneck less.

Edit: V-sync will naturally cap your gpu usage since the gpu is only used as much as it needs to get to 60 fps.

So it's not really a bottleneck then. V-Sync lowers GPU Usage to control FPS.

You'll never get 99% with V-sync on as it caps the frame rate to 60fps and doesn't let the GPU stretch its legs.
