Odd connector on AX750W

Thread Starter
On the ATX 24 pin connector, there is an extra plug on the PSU end. I've plugged it in the socket underneath the ATX plug on the PSU but I'm not sure if its supposed to go there. Anyone got any ideas?

both connectors need to be plugged in. It is an interesting design I have not seen before, but whatever works, works.
