I am thinking of trying out Acronis, as long as they have file-file backups (as opposed to system image only).

One thing I have noticed with the Athlon memory controller is to keep your memory at stock timings and speed, but the other settings not listed at the highest value of the SPD. Works great for me and no issues. 10gb/s +/- on the ram and no issues.

are your temps ok? just want to be sure you aren't throttling due to improper installation of thermal paste and heatsink/fan

also, i'd see if it passes Prime95 blend for 24 hours so we can rule out hardware issues like your motherboard, ram, or power supply

Yea, my temps are great. Mainly due to the fact that we have a tiny apartment with two air conditioners running 24/7 (me and the missus HATE to be hot....AT ALL). My chip stays at around 27c right now, going to maybe 30 or so under load, and that is with a stock cooler.
