It's the sager that these guys make right here. http://www.xoticpc.com/sager-np7280-...00-p-3115.html

Z13, that should answer your question as well. As far as I have tested the cooling is pretty good. I'm idling at around 32C and at peak around 70C using Prime95.

I tried to build it with the specs you listed....

That 'laptop' already spanks a decent number of desktops when it comes to performance! Dang!

Well, your are fine. They match my sig rig's temps lol. But for CPU OC, does the motherboard allow overclocking? (I believe it will but just to be sure...)

Also, run furmark to see how hot the GPU's get and post back temps

PS: If this thing keeps the 990x at 32C idle, either you live in a fridge or it has very impressive cooling

OT:
EDIT: how long is your battery life? 20 mins? lol

I can get some pics up later. My camera is broke right now so I can't take any shots of the laptop.

Hahaha. I've gotten a lot of crazy reactions from people. Surprisingly, girls seem to take a keen interest due to its size....

Yes, I can overclock it. I'll run the furmark as soon as I can. It's hard to in class because it takes over the screen and my professor might see it. lol. The comp has really good cooling imo. Occasionally I get higher ldles of 35-37C but not usually. I also need to get a cooling pad for it.

The battery life lasts an impressive like 55mins tops. It's basically a desktop replacement. Not ideal for the traveler type as you can tell.

EDIT: Also, the CPU has a vent of its own for the fan so that helps with the cooling.

lol, pssshhh. I used to play Fifa 11 in my Circuit theory class
Anyway, yeah. Save the furmark fun till later cos the fans are gonna get crazy and get everyone's attention.

Girls like it? ooo.... they like it big I see.... (angel)

55mins!? Dang, I'm actually impressed ...

I wonder if any OCN-er has the same laptop; that'd make helping much easier.

Okay, when you get a cam, I'd suggest you include pics of your bios screen as well (where the OC options are). Since this is a desktop board pretty much, I think most of the guides for X58 overclocking (I never got an x58 board ) should be applicable.

That thing is essentially a desktop with a screen attached!!! It's enormous!!

Amazing specs for a 'laptop' though, gl.

That's impressive, those temps, considering my laptop with a Core 2 Duo T2300E maxes out at 79c under stress and idles at 58c.

EDIT: Maxing out those options and that laptop's over $12000

I was hoping someone at least had a similar laptop. I can't find anyone who does. lol. It is a desktop replacement laptop so it basically is a desktop with screen. Hahaha. The temps are really good. I'll double check them in a few days once I redo some things to it. The laptop ran me about $5000ish. Idk where you got $12k from. Link me to it. lol.

On the software end:

Disable unneeded windows services like tablet pc services

Ensure all your drivers are up to date, especially graphics

I've already done that. I hate all the extra windows bs. lol. I check for updates on drivers at least twice a month.
