That seems very high unless you live in a sauna. Consider reinstalling it and check on your thermal paste.

Yeah I am going to reseat it. I think it might be a thermal paste issue, looking at the instructions I didn't apply it right. AS5 is so thick lol, or at least I think so. Free tube so, I can't complain. Question on the cleaning though, will regular rubbing alch work? Or contact cleaner?

Rubbing alcohol should work. That's 70% or more, right?

Yeah I use AS5 (since I can't find my damn IC7 Diamond) and it's a PITA at times. Never used saline solution, but I don't think I'd recommend it with the "salty" quality of it. 70% rubbing alcohol will work, 90%+ is preferable.

Would the paste that came with the Hyper 212+ be a better choice? :> Awesome. I wasn't sure if it took some special chemical to clean or not. I have the rubbing variety. Lol, no not contact cleaner for the kind your wear. I work in a factory as a supplier and we sell cleaner for electrical contacts(Non static aerosal cleaning solution).

That makes more sense... Personally, I'd never use an aerosol-type cleaner with paste.

Not sure what came with your heatsink but you can try it. Here's a thread about how to apply thermal paste to the 212+.

Thank you so much for that thread! I am not sure what it is. I /think/ its in a red or pink tube and says Cooler Master on it. I will check when I get home.

Why is everyone talking about his rig having not enough power?

A quality 430W will easily run that rig. Dont post if you dont know what youre talking about...

http://www.overclock.net/power-suppl...alculator.html

Class 3 (125-200W)
GTX560Ti

Sandy Bridge i5 = -25W

So thats a total of less then 200W, if u add other components etc, you might get around 250W, INCLUDING a 50% overclock, like phaedrus his thread says.
