I think for $12, I would probably change the CPU to the AMD Phenom II X3 720 Black Edition

It is OEM though so you would need a cooler. You probably want to get a non-stock cooler anyways... The Hyper 212+ is totally decent and very cheap.

Or if you don't need an aftermarket cooler, or the Hyper 212+ wont fit in the case, you could go for the AMD Athlon II X3 445 Rana.

The 255 will totally work for what your doing, but I dunno. Seemed like a pretty big performance boost for 12 bucks.

I second the upgrade to the X3 if your planning on doing starcraft tournaments, assuming its starcraft 2.

When I say Starcraft tournaments, I mean via GOMTV.net, Justin TV, YouTube, etc.. I will not actually even be installing Starcraft 2 on this HTPC.
